The family of former Prime Minister Imran Khan is not being allowed to meet him, nor is any PTI leader allowed to meet him. As soon as the message of Imran’s son Qasim Khan appeared on social media, uneasiness spread in many parts of the country.
Qasim Khan, who lives in Britain, wrote on Twitter that Imran Khan has been kept in such a place for the last six weeks where neither contact with anyone is allowed nor any information is being given to the family. He wrote that he had no proof of his father being alive. There was a storm in political circles after this statement. Qasim and his brothers generally stay away from politics, but this time the circumstances forced them to come out openly.
Efforts are being made to hide Imran
Qasim says that this situation is not a part of security but a well-thought-out plan, in which his father has been completely isolated. They allege that despite court orders several times, the sisters were not allowed inside the jail. The lawyers were also not allowed to meet, which increased the mystery over the whole matter.
Imran Khan’s security is Pakistan’s responsibility
Qasim has appealed to the United Nations, international human rights organizations and democratic governments of the world to put pressure on Pakistan so that the true status of Imran Khan is known. He says that if any untoward incident happens to Imran Khan, the responsibility for it will be directly on the Pakistan government.

Cleanliness of government and jail administration
The government’s stand is completely opposite. The jail administration announced that Imran Khan was not being given any kind of trouble. According to him, Imran is getting those facilities in jail, which are not possible for any ordinary prisoner. Pakistan’s Defense Minister even said that Imran has been given special food, gym facilities and comfortable arrangements.

After a long tension, the jail administration assured that Imran Khan’s sister Alima Khan and other family members would be allowed to meet. After this the protests calmed down a bit and everyone’s eyes were now focused on this meeting.
