For this Diwali, the Supreme Court has given clear instructions that firecrackers can be burst only a day before Diwali and on the day of Diwali, from 6 am to 7 am and from 8 pm to 10 pm. During this period, you will be exempted from bursting only green crackers. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on the sale of green firecrackers online and strict action will be taken against shopkeepers selling illegal firecrackers.

The court has clearly said that bursting firecrackers outside the stipulated time will be considered a violation of the rules and those who do so will be fined. If necessary, strict legal action can also be taken. Therefore, burst crackers only at the timing specified under these rules.
This much punishment if you break the rules
If any person is caught burning or buying polluting firecrackers in Delhi. Or burning crackers even after the timing is over. Then he can be fined Rs 200 and jail up to six months. Whereas if someone is caught selling or storing firecrackers. So under Section 9B of the Explosives Act, he can be punished with a fine of five thousand rupees and jail up to three years. That is, despite the ban, if you are caught burning or keeping firecrackers. Then you may have to face serious legal action.
