Alan Musk’s company Tesla has entered India. On Tuesday (July 15), Tesla’s first Experience Center was inaugurated in India at BKC, Mumbai. This was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
CM Fadnavis said that this is not just the inauguration of an experience center, but it is a strong message Tesla has come to India and for this the company has chosen the right city, Maharashtra Mumbai, the right city.
He said that Mumbai is not only the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of India, but it is also an enterprise capital which is a symbol of innovation and Tesla represents it at all.
CM Devendra Fadnavis said that I had experienced my first Tesla ride in the US in 2015 and then I knew that India needed it. It took time, but we are happy that it has finally come here.
Isabel Fan, Senior Regional Director of Tesla, shared Tesla’s perspective for India and presented a glimpse of the company’s ongoing efforts in electric mobility and sustainable technology, highlighting the company’s commitment to innovation in the field.
The CM said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has paved an ambitious path towards stability and self -sufficiency. His efforts towards e-mobility, Make in India and visionary industrial policies have laid the foundation of such moments.
The Chief Minister said that Maharashtra has emerged as a strong EV center with progressive EV policies, strong charging infrastructure and the most wide support for electric vehicles. We are confident that India and especially Maharashtra will be one of the strongest markets in Tesla.
CM finally said that Tesla is starting its journey from Mumbai, Maharashtra is your most trusted partner and ready to become your home in India. Happy success to you.
