In many states in America, people keep wild animals in their homes. These include species like lion, leopard and fox. According to the report, more than 5,000 leopards are being reared in homes in about 12 states of America. Their numbers in the forests are now very less. In America, rules differ from state to state, but in many places there is no complete ban on keeping these animals as pets.
United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Rich people in UAE keep lions, leopards and leopards. In October 2016, a picture of 5 leopards with a car convoy on the beach of Dubai went viral. All of them were pets and were traveling in a luxury car with their owners. However, after 2017, UAE implemented the Wildlife Protection Act, under which keeping these animals at home can result in a fine of Rs 1 crore or 6 months in jail. Now these animals are allowed to be kept only in zoos, research centers or circuses.

It is completely banned in India. Under the Wildlife Protection Act, private rearing of tigers, lions and other wild animals is not allowed. Their observance is possible only in zoos, research centers or wildlife conservation projects.
