On the issue of reservation, the Modi government of the Center and Tejashwi Yadav, who surrounded the Nitish government of Bihar, have written a letter to the Chief Minister of Bihar to increase the limit of reservation. He posted this letter on Thursday (June 05, 2025) on X.
Tejashwi Yadav wrote anything in his letter?
Tejashwi Yadav has said in his letter that the scope of reservation should be increased by 85% and it should be put in the 9th schedule. It is also written in the letter that an all -party meeting should be called to implement it. Tejashwi Yadav has said in his letter that a special session of one day Legislature should also be called and it should be passed.
Tejashwi Yadav warns even the movement
In a letter to CM Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav has said that a provision of 85 percent reservation and passed the bill and a proposal to include it in the 9th Schedule should be sent to the Central Government within three weeks. In the event of this, 90 percent of the state’s Dalit-Adivasi, backward-backward and in the interest of crushed people for centuries, a comprehensive mass movement will be started across the state.
Tejashwi Yadav has written in his letter that after coming to the government in August 2022, the Grand Alliance government completed the caste -based census in the year 2023. After this calculation, a provision was made for reservation limit for backward, extremely backward, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes of the state by passing a bill on the basis of population of different castes and their socio-economic status. A 75 percent reservation limit was set for enrollment in government jobs and educational institutions in Bihar.
He further wrote that this law was canceled by the Patna High Court, saying that the limit of reservation has been increased without studying adequate representation to people of castes for enrollment in government jobs and study institutions. Everyone knows that reservation is available in Tamil Nadu on this basis. Tejashwi has said that if Nitish Kumar does not do this, then it will be understood that he and his government are deliberately hanging and wandering.
