Tim David played an explosive innings in the third T20 against India and scored 74 runs in 38 balls. In this innings he hit 5 sixes and 8 fours. He completed his half-century in just 23 balls, with this he became the Australian batsman to score the second fastest half-century against India, surpassing Travis Head.

When Tim David came to bat, Australia was under pressure, the team had lost its two big wickets at the score of 14.
