Jagadishan has performed tremendously in domestic cricket, especially the red-ball format. He has 3373 runs in 52 first class matches, average 47.50, including 10 centuries and 14 half -centuries. He scored 674 runs in the last Ranji Trophy, including two centuries and five half -centuries.

The selectors also had the option to include KS Bharat in the team. Which is currently playing for Dalvich CC in England. Bharat has also played a Test match in England. But the selectors did not think of including them.

Jurlel will keep keeping in the fourth Test
