IND vs ENG Semi Final Rain Chances: India and England will clash today in the second semi-final of the 2026 T20 World Cup. New Zealand has reached the final after defeating South Africa in the first semi-final and whoever wins today will face the Kiwi team in the final on March 8. India vs England Semi Final (IND vs ENG Semi Final) match will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, which will start at 7 pm Indian time. But if this match gets washed out due to rain then how will the finalist team be decided? Here you will get the answer to this question.

If it rains, who will be in the final?

If the semi-final match between India and England gets canceled due to rain or any other reason, then there is a rule of reserve day for it. This means that if the second semi-final could not be played today i.e. on March 5, then this semi-final match will be held on the reserve day i.e. on March 6.

ICC had kept a reserve day for the knockout matches of T20 World Cup 2026. If the semi-final or even the final match could not be played today due to rain, it will be held the next day i.e. on March 9.

If the reserve day is also washed out in rain?

If no game is played even on the reserve day due to rain, then the team going to the final will be decided on the basis of the Super-8 table. In the points table of Super-8, England had collected 6 points by winning all their three matches, whereas Team India was able to register only 2 wins. If the India vs England semi-final match is not held even on the Reserve Day, then England will go to the final due to scoring more points in the Super-8.

The good thing for the Indian team is that it will not have to suffer any loss due to rain, because the weather in Mumbai is expected to be completely clear today. The temperature during the match can range from 28 degrees to 31 degrees Celsius.
