Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is out of the fourth Test and Nitish Kumar Reddy is out of the entire series due to injury. BCCI has announced the updated squad. Anshul Kamboj has been included in the team. India is 1-2 backward in the 5-match series. The fourth Test will be played from July 23, which is like ‘do or die’ for Shubman Gill & Team.

The BCCI said in an official statement about Nitish Reddy, “All -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is out of the remaining two Test matches due to the left knee injury. Nitish will return to India soon. The team wishes for him to get well soon.”

Arshdeep Singh out of fourth Test

BCCI said in its statement about Arshdeep Singh, “Arshdeep Singh is out of the fourth Test match against England in Manchester. His left thumb was hurt while bowling on the nets during a training session in Bekenham. BCCI’s medical teams are keeping an eye on him.”

Arshdeep Singh has also got stitches, it was believed that in the absence of Jaspreet Bumrah, he could get a chance to debut in the fourth Test. Now it is possible that Bumrah played in the fourth Test unlike the plan.

The fourth Test between India and England will be played from July 23 at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester.
