Indian cricket team star all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja has created a record in the World Test Championship (WTC), which no player was able to do till date. After playing a strong innings of 89 runs in the Edgbaston Test against England, Jadeja has made several records in the WTC. Jadeja did this feat in his 41st World Test Championship match and he has become the first player in the world to reach this point.
Jadeja’s fire in the World Test Championship
In the second match of the five -match Test series against England, Jadeja has scored 89 runs and has won the world record of taking 2000 runs in WTC and more than 100 wickets, Ravindra Jadeja’s statistics so far include him among the best all -rounders of Test cricket.

Jadeja shone again in Edgbaston
Edgbaston’s ground has always been special for Jadeja. In 2022 too, he scored a century by partnering 222 runs with Rishabh Pant on this ground. This time he shared a 203 -run partnership with Gill.
When five wickets fell for 211 runs in the first innings of the Indian team, Jadeja took the front with Shubman Gill. Both shared a 203 -run partnership for the sixth wicket and have brought the team to a strong position. Jadeja played a patient innings of 89 runs and once again showed that Edgbaston is his favorite ground.
Now Jadeja will try to show wonders with his bowling and give India a historic victory in Edgbaston.
