Ind vs Pak: Who said that do not take the trophy from Team India at the hands of Naqvi, Suryakumar Yadav’s big disclosure, told when the decision was taken

After winning the title against Pakistan in ‘Asia Cup 2025’, the Indian team refused to take the trophy at the hands of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) president Mohsin Naqvi. After this, the Indian team was not allowed to take the trophy from any other official, due to which the Indian players celebrated without a trophy. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was upset with this.

In the press conference after winning the title win, Suryakumar Yadav said, “Ever since I have been playing cricket, I have seen the first time that the trophy was not given to the champion team. We have won this tournament by working very hard. We were entitled to it. I could not say anything more than this. My trophies are present in my dressing room. All 14 players and all the associates are present in my dressing room.

When Suryakumar Yadav was asked whether the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sent an official e-mail to the ACC that if the Indian team wins the tournament, it would not get the trophy from Naqvi, then in response, Surya said, “We had taken this decision on the field. We did not get any instructions.”
