He has also become the batsman who has jointly hit the most number of sixes in a Test innings against India. On Sunday, he equaled the record of Shahid Afridi, who had hit 7 sixes in an innings in 2006.

Team India is already 0-1 behind in the series after losing the Kolkata Test. By the end of play on the third day of the second Test, South Africa had scored 26 runs in the second innings without losing any wicket. Team India’s first innings was reduced to 201 runs.
