This match was played on 25 October 2015 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Thanks to the stormy innings of AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock, South Africa had scored 438 runs in 50 overs. Indian bowlers were badly beaten in this match. In reply, India could score only 224 runs and lost the match by 214 runs. This is South Africa’s biggest ODI score against India so far.
India – 401/3 (Gwalior, 2010)
Indian fans can never forget the day of 24 February 2010. That day, Sachin Tendulkar created history in ODI cricket by scoring the first double century (200 not out). India scored a huge score of 401 runs against South Africa in Gwalior. Dhoni and Sehwag also batted brilliantly in that match. India won this match by 153 runs.
South Africa – 365/2 (Ahmedabad, 2010)
In 2010 itself, another explosive match was seen when South Africa made a mountain-like score of 365 runs in Ahmedabad. AB de Villiers had scored a brilliant century here. The Indian team could not even cross 200 runs in reply and South Africa won the match unilaterally.

Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock had thrashed the Indian bowlers on the bouncy pitch of Johannesburg. Thanks to his batting, South Africa had scored a mountain of 358 runs and defeated India by 141 runs.
India – 331/7 (Cardiff, 2013)
In the Champions Trophy 2013, India made a strong score of 331 runs at Cardiff ground. In this match, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli scored brilliant half-centuries and put the South African bowlers under pressure. India won this match by 26 runs.
