The World Cup final between India and South Africa is being played in Navi Mumbai. The Indian team came to bat first. Shefali Verma closed the game with a strong half-century of 87 runs. India batted first in the final match. Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma gave an excellent start to Team India and made an opening partnership of 104 runs. Smriti scored 45 runs and Shefali was out after scoring 87 runs. After Shefali’s dismissal, it was as if there was a brake on the run rate. Deepti Sharma played a half-century innings, while in the last overs, Richa Ghosh stole the show by hitting shots in style.
