But people’s thinking changed over time. In the early 1990s, the same song which was once disputed, now became the life of TV advertisements. The National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC) created an advertisement jingle based on the same tune to increase the consumption of eggs in the country, “Khana Meri Jaan, Meri Jaan, Meri Jaan Penk’s Eggs.” This jingle became so popular that people of all ages started humming it and it became included in the most popular advertisements of that era.
