India A won its second consecutive title by defeating Bangladesh by 46 runs in the final of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars played on Sunday. Batting first in the final, Team India had scored 134 runs. Tejal Hasbanis scored a half-century. Captain Radha Yadav played an important inning of 36 runs. While defending, Prema Rawat bowled brilliantly, she gave only 12 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets. Sonia Mendhia and Tanuja Kanwar took 2-2 wickets.
While chasing 135 runs in the final, Bangladesh’s first wicket fell in the third over. Saima Thakor dismissed Ishma Tanzeem (3), after which Prema Rawat made the other opener Shamima Sultana (20) her victim. Captain Radha Yadav got the first wicket in the 10th over, she got Sarmin Sultana (18) caught out on the score of 47. As the asking net run rate increased, the pressure on Bangladesh increased and the middle order appeared to be a complete failure.
Captain Fahima Khatoon (14) was dismissed by Minnu Mani, after which Bangladesh’s defeat was almost confirmed. Six batsmen of Bangladesh could not even reach double figures, the entire team collapsed for 88 runs.

Tejal scored a half-century, received POTM award
India had scored 134 runs while batting first in the final of ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars played at Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok. However, India also had a bad start. In the 9th over, the team’s first wicket fell at the score of 44, after which Tejal Hasbanis and Radha Yadav played brilliant innings and contributed significantly in taking India to 134.

Tejal played an unbeaten inning of 51 runs in 34 balls, in which he hit 2 sixes and 3 fours. He received the Player of the Match award for this brilliant innings. Captain Radha Yadav scored 36 runs in 30 balls, in which she hit 1 six and 3 fours.
