Due to the ongoing war in the Middle East, the supply of oil and gas has been disrupted across the world. Meanwhile, while addressing a program in Assam, PM Modi said that India can take care of the energy of the world. He accused Congress of spreading rumors regarding oil and LPG gas.
PM Modi said, ‘We have seen again and again in independent India that when there are wars in other parts of the world and there are problems in the supply chain, our farmers suffer. Sometimes fertilizers became expensive, sometimes the price of diesel and energy increased, because for decades the Congress Party kept the country dependent on other countries. This increased the cost of farming. In the last decade, the BJP-NDA government has done another big work regarding self-reliance. We have encouraged self-reliance to protect agriculture from external crises.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘The BJP-NDA government has worked for the development of our refinery and for the development of refining capacity. Today India is the only country in the world which can take care of not only its own energy needs but also the energy needs of the world. PM Modi alleged that Congress is busy spreading rumors in the country during the war.
He said, ‘Today Congress has once again proved that they are not honest towards the country under any circumstances. Today, even amidst the crises created by the war, Congress is only engaged in spreading rumors and non-propaganda. I want to tell the Congress colleagues to do one thing, listen to the speech given by Pandit Nehru on 15th August from the Red Fort.
PM Modi said, ‘Pandit ji once said from the Red Fort that there is a war going on between North Korea and South Korea, hence inflation is increasing in India. Nehru ji was talking about where North Korea and South Korea are and the rising inflation here. Today Congress people are busy misleading the country. The world is watching what is the impact of global crises.
