Air India flight bomb threat: There was a stir at Phuket Airport in Thailand when the emergency landing of the aircraft was made after the Air India flight AI379 threatened the bomb. Monchai Tanode, General Manager of Fuket Airport, said that at 10 am, the pilot informed the air traffic control that a crew member got a note in the toilet of the aircraft, which said- ‘F* you all bomb.’
The security agencies were immediately alerted and the airline activated its emergency plan at 10:35 am. Viman was safely landed at Fuket Airport at 11:37 pm. After this, all the passengers have been safely evacuated and a thorough security check of the aircraft was done. Police and other agencies are now trying to find out who gave this threat.
Many aircraft diverted or canceled due to Iran-Israel tension
Both countries have temporarily closed their airs due to increasing military tension between Iran and Israel. Because of this, many international flights flying from India to America, Europe and Canada either had to change the way or return to Delhi. Air India has appealed to the passengers not to panic and maintain peace. The airline has assured that all kinds of assistance is being provided to the passengers.
A fierce plane crash occurred in Ahmedabad a day earlier
Significantly, this incident has come to light just a day after the horrific accident, in which a Boeing aircraft of Air India crashed in Ahmedabad. The flight AI-171 going to London did the takeoff at 1:38 pm on Thursday, but the aircraft collapsed after two minutes of flying. In this accident, only 1 of 242 passengers aboard the aircraft could save the lives of 1. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also among those who died. After this tragedy, the bomb threat in the next flight has increased the concern about air travel.
