India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on Monday from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio (2Met on 2 September). Rubio, after the meeting, reacted to the relations between India and America and said how important it is. Rubio also reacted to the trade deal with India. US President Donald Trump had imposed 50 percent tariff on India, after which the relationship between the two countries was tension.
According to the US State Ministry, Marco Rubio said, “India has a very important relationship for America.” Rubio indicated about the trade deal and praised India. He praised India’s participation in the field of trade, defense, energy, pharmaceuticals and important minerals.
