Operation Sindoor: The Government of India has once again exposed the lies being spread by Pakistan. This time Pakistan claimed that an Indian airfield was destroyed in its attack.
Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) showed a select part of an Indian news channel video in its media briefing, claiming that it was proof of loss to the Indian airbase. However, the fact-check unit of India’s Press Information Bureau (PIB) revealed that the video was incorrectly edited.
PIB said in an official statement, “Pakistan is using fake videos to mislead its people.” The entire video shown by the Indian news channel was actually the destruction of a Pakistani airfield during the Indian military action, not the Indian airport. However, DG ISPR showed only 5 seconds of the 41 second video, in which the real information was removed.
The Pakistani Army spokesman said, “We will show you another clip that will tell the real story.” However, he showed a wrong edit video of 5 seconds. In response to this video, the PIB fact check released the complete video, which clearly showed that the loss was to a Pakistani airbase, not the Indian airbase.
This incident is another example of Pakistan’s false propaganda. Indian authorities have reiterated the commitment to combat false stories with the right facts. Earlier, claims were made on Pakistani social media that Bathinda Airfield was destroyed, which was rejected by India.
PIB’s fact check clarified that these posts are being spread deliberately and Bathinda Airfield is working completely and has not suffered any damage. PIB said in the social media platform X post, ‘viral claims about Bathinda! Posts are being spread on social media that Bathinda Airfield was destroyed. This news has turned out to be fake in the PIB fact check. Bathinda Airfield is completely operational and did not cause any damage. Do not trust wrong information. Be aware, be cautious.
