Asim Munir, the head of Pakistan’s army, has now got a new identity of ‘Field Marshal’. This big decision was taken in an important meeting of the federal cabinet led by Shahbaz Sharif. According to Pakistani media, especially the newspaper Dawn, General Munir has been promoted on the basis of ‘extraordinary strategic understanding’ shown during “Operation Banyan-Um-Marsus”. However, some people are also seeing it as more ‘political decisions’.

Asim Munir trolled on promotion after defeat to India
