Saudi Arabia Minister of State for External Affairs Adil Aljuber has come to India on an unannounced visit and on Thursday (May 8, 2025) interacted with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, which focused on reducing tension between India and Pakistan.
Alzuber’s visit to New Delhi is taking place at a time when stressful relations between India and Pakistan have already deteriorated after the target attacks on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir.
Dr. S. Jaishankar said in a post on social media, “This morning there was a good meeting with Saudi Arabian Minister of State for External Affairs Adil Aljuber.” He said, “India’s vision was shared on fiercely combating terrorism.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also reached New Delhi on a pre -scheduled journey yesterday in the midst of increasing tension in India and Pakistan. Araghchi soon Dr. S. Will hold extensive conversations with Jaishankar. He will also meet President Draupadi Murmu in the afternoon.
To avenge the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Armed Forces carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist bases on Tuesday-Thursday, including Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) terrorist organization stronghold Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s whereabouts.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that India decided to attack the NAPA-Lula to bring the conspirators of the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April and the conspiracy to bring it into the dock of justice, as there was no ‘any concrete steps’ to take action against the terrorist structure in areas controlled by Pakistan.
The Indian Army said that the first terrorist organizations were identified and their activities were monitored, followed by Operation Sindoor to destroy the camp in which the plot of attacks in India. 26/11 terrorists of Mumbai attack, Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam attacks were trained in these camps. Apart from this, they control terrorist activities in areas like Poonch, Rajauri, Kathua of Kashmir.
