Retired Brigadier Vijay Sagar (May 6, 2025), in a conversation with news agency IANS, reacted to Pahalgam terror attack, United Nations Security Council meeting and Indus Water Treaty. On the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs to mock drilling all the states, retired Brigadier Vijay Sagar said that the tension between India and Pakistan has increased considerably after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. The possibility of complete war cannot be ruled out.
He said, ‘In the event of war, there is a possibility of involved in aggressive actions from both sides, including air strikes or missile attacks. Any attack on the civilian areas of any country will essentially cause heavy loss of life and property. How to reduce this loss, the purpose behind mock drilling is how to keep preparations during the war and how to protect because, the fight between the two countries is not only the army of the country, our people also fight.
On the meeting of the United Nations Security Council, retired Brigadier Vijay Sagar said that the way the Indian government took five important decisions after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Pakistan has been under stress since then. He said that the jackal is being given by Pakistan, but the way the Indian government has clarified the stance, Pakistan has also understood that its jackal is not going to work. Regardless of that he goes to any meeting, he is not going to support him.
Retired Brigadier Vijay Sagar said that Pakistan is now isolated. When the Indus Water Treaty was suspended, he said that Pakistan has got a befitting reply from this. We will stop water.
