After the India-Pakistan match, the No-Handshek controversy is being hot. Earlier it was reported that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has complained to Team India to ACC in this matter. The PCB has targeted the match referee Andy Picroft directly, demanding that Andy Picroft be removed from the Asia Cup match referee penal list. If this is not done, the Pakistan Board has threatened to withdraw the name from the Asia Cup.

PCB alleged that the match referee Andy Picroft had asked the two captains not to join hands at the time of the toss using his power. At the same time, Cricbuj reported that Pakistan has also threatened to boycott the next match.

Pakistan complained

PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi wrote in a social media post on Monday, “The PCB has complained to the match referee to the International Cricket Council, which has violated the game sense in reverse from the MCC rules. The board demands the match referee to be dismissed with immediate effect.”

PCB threatens

According to Cricbuzz, if the match referee Andy Picroft is not removed from the Asia Cup referee panel, Pakistan has threatened to boycott the match against UAE on 17 September. At the same time, a Pakistani news agency had earlier reported that if Andy Picroft is not removed, the Pak team can withdraw the name from the remaining matches of the Asia Cup. It was also claimed that PCB is considering taking huge action on the handshake controversy.

Paycroft is on target because he has not been able to take action on PCB’s complaint. He has been accused of taking decisions in India-Pakistan match beyond sportsmanship.
