There is big news for the youth dreaming of joining the Indian Air Force. The Air Force has announced to start the recruitment process for Agniveer Vayu Intake 1/2026 under the Agneepath Scheme. Under this, the process of application will start from 11 July 2025 and the online examination will be held on 25 September 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
Who can apply?
This recruitment can include the same youth whose age is between 1 January 2005 to 1 January 2008. That is, the minimum age of the applying should be 17.5 years and maximum 21 years. Some classes will be given age relaxation as per rules.
Talking about educational qualifications, three types of candidates can apply. Who have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Maths and English subjects in 12th. Apart from this, those who have done a three -year engineering diploma in trade, mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer science etc. and also have 50% marks. At the same time, those who have done a two -year vocational course which includes physics and maths and also in English also have 50% marks.

In the recruitment process of Agniveer Vayu, first online written examination will be taken. After that there will be Physical Fitness Test (PST/PET), document verification and then medical examination. The merit list of the candidates who are successful in all these stages will be made.

How much will you get salary?
Agniveer Vayu will get a salary of Rs 30,000 per month in the first year, which will increase every year. By the fourth year, this salary will reach Rs 40,000 per month. Apart from this, on the end of service, the service fund of about Rs 10.08 lakh will be given tax free to the fire.

- Upload sought documents like passport size photos, signature etc.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
