Airports Re-opoened: Indian aircraft have now been completely opened under the instructions of Indian Air Force. Apart from this, the 32 airports which have been closed during tension between India and Pakistan have also been ordered to be opened. Airports Authority of India (AAI) said, for the attention of the passengers; A notice was issued to temporarily shut down 32 airports for civil aircraft operations by 05:29 pm on 15 May 2025. It is reported that these airports have now been opened for civil aircraft operations with immediate effect.
During this time, passengers were advised to keep an eye on the websites of airlines for regular updates and directly contact the airlines to know the status of the flight. Due to this, not only will it help in reducing air traffic, but both domestic and international airlines will also benefit.
On May 7, the Indian Army targeted nine terrorist bases in Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’ and avenged the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, killing 26 innocent people. Most of them were tourists. Furious with the action of the Indian Army, Pakistan also carried out Loc and cross -border attacks with drones and missiles.
