On January 21, 2026, an army trainee plane crashed in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The aircraft suddenly wobbled in the air and fell into the pond in the middle of the city. This accident happened behind KP College, 3 kilometers away from Magh Mela. Local people informed the police and administration about the incident, after which the fire brigade and rescue team reached the spot.
Both pilots of the plane were saved
The rescue team has safely rescued both the pilots of the plane. Army helicopter has also reached the spot. There is a marshy pond at the accident site and water hyacinth is growing all around. In such a situation, no team could reach the aircraft. Eyewitness told ABP News that 3 people had jumped with parachute before the aircraft crashed. He fell into the pond and got stuck in the swamp. Local people took them out. At present it is not clear how many people were on board the aircraft.
Aircraft ate Kulacha in the air before crash
An eyewitness told ABP News that children were playing near the college here. Then there was a sound like a rocket in the sky. As soon as we reached the pond shore, the aircraft fell into the pond. Three people had landed in the pond with parachute. Another eyewitness said that the aircraft had lost control in the air. Because of this he became a victim of an accident. Two people have been sent to the hospital by ambulance.
