Hosbale, in his statement, supported the removal of words like ‘Dharmaniparaksha’ and ‘Socialism’ from the Constitution. After this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked BJP and RSS strongly. He said, RSS and BJP do not want the constitution, they want to implement Manusmriti in the country. They want to snatch their rights from Bahujans and the poor.

Who wrote Manusmriti?
Manusmriti was written by Manu Rishi. According to mythology, Manu was the first person to come to this earth, so he has also been called Adipurush. According to beliefs, Manu composed Manusmriti several hundred years before Christ. In this book, social system, religion to human deeds, judicial system and rights of women have been talked about. There are 12 chapters and 2684 verses in Manusmriti. 2964 verses are also found in some of its versions. In the first chapter itself, the four varnas and their profession are told, which also mentions the greatness of Brahmins.
What are the dispute over?
There is a dispute over many things written in Manusmriti and from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule to the creator of Constitution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has also publicly challenged this book. Varna and ethnic system have also been discussed in Manusmriti, which is the reason for the biggest dispute. Apart from this, this book is also accused of limiting women’s rights. In this book, Brahmins have been described as the greatest on the basis of varna system, while the Shudras have also been denied the right to education, there is also a lot of controversy about it.
