Indian oil corporation on operation sindoor: Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the country’s largest oil company, said on Friday that petrol, diesel and LPG (LPG) are available in sufficient quantity in the country and there is no need to shop much in panic. This statement was released on social media after the arrival of reports and videos that claimed that there were queues of people to get fuel at the petrol pump due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan.

The IOC gave information on the social media platform ‘X’, “Indian Oil has enough fuel reserves across the country and all our supply lines are working smoothly. There is no need to shop in panic. Fuel and LPG are available at all our ‘outlets’. ”Especially in the states bordering Pakistan, people started shopping in panic.
The Pakistan Army carried out several attacks in the entire western border region using drones and weapons on the night of eight-nine May, after which blackouts were made in many cities of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. The Indian Army said that the attacks have been “effectively failed”.
Adequate fuel available in nationwide network- BPCL
This increased the tension among the people and in panic, people started shopping for fuel. The IOC said, “Stay calm and avoid unnecessary crowds, help us serve you better. This will keep our supply line running uninterrupted and ensure uninterrupted fuel access to all. ”Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) assured in the statement that sufficient amount of petrol, diesel, CNG and LPG are available in its huge nationwide network.
The company said in the statement, “All the fuel stations and LPG distributors of BPCL are working smoothly across the country. Consumers are fully capable of meeting the energy needs. There is no reason to shop in anxiety or nervousness. Our supply chain operations remain strong and efficient, which ensures uninterrupted supply. We urge all the customers to keep it … ‘
Tension increased between India and Pakistan
Significantly, India on Thursday night thwarted Pakistan’s efforts to attack with drones and missiles at military sites including Jammu and Pathankot. Earlier, India had thwarted similar efforts at 15 places in the northern and western regions of the country. Meanwhile, tension has increased between the two countries. Earlier, the Indian armed forces avenged the Pahalgam terrorist attack and carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir under ‘Operation Sindoor’.
