Indian Players At Siddhivinayak Temple: The second semi-final of T20 World Cup 2026 will be played between India and England on Thursday, March 05 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India reached semi-finals after losing the first match in Super-8

After this defeat, the discussion about Men in Blue being eliminated from the semi-final race intensified. However, Team India secured a place in the semi-finals by winning the last two matches.

Surya Brigade played the next match against Zimbabwe, in which it won by 72 runs. Then in the last match against West Indies, they won by 5 wickets. Sanju Samson made an important contribution in helping Team India win this match. Sanju scored 97 runs in 50 balls with the help of 12 fours and 4 sixes.

Team India’s performance in the group stage

In the group stage, Team India won all four matches. In the first match, Men in Blue won against USA by 29 runs. Then in the next match, it won against Namibia by 93 runs. After this, won the match against Pakistan by 61 runs. Then in the last match against Netherlands they won by 17 runs. In this way, the Indian team won all four matches of the group stage and entered the Super-8.
