Railways have now increased the stoppage of 5 major trains coming to New Delhi station in Delhi. The stoppage of those trains will now be on different stations like Nizamuddin, Tilak Bridge, Vegetable Market.
The railway thinks behind this move that one can reduce the crowd gathering at New Delhi railway station. Apart from this, they can get off their train at that station, not to go to New Delhi for the stations of passengers located near the passengers of Delhi. That is, passengers traveling by these trains in Delhi will not have to get off the train at New Delhi railway station itself.
Statement issued by Railways
According to the statement issued by the administration, an analysis was done by the Railways, in which more trains start running from New Delhi station between 3 pm and 9 pm.
Apart from this, a large number of trains from other cities also reach New Delhi railway station, due to which there is a possibility of increasing crowd on the platform. Now to reduce this crowd, the Railways has increased the stops of 5 major trains coming to New Delhi in Delhi.
However, it has also been said by the Railways that for the convenience of passengers, this step is only applicable only on trains coming towards New Delhi. That is, if the passengers want to catch these trains, then they will have to go to New Delhi railway station.
Which trains increased stoppages
It is noteworthy that among the trains which have been built in Delhi, the Freedom Fighter Express (12561) whose stops have been done Tilak Bridge, while the Mumbai Duronto Express (22209) whose stops have been done by Nizamuddin railway station. Gomti Express (12419) whose stops have been done Tilak Bridge and Chandigarh Shatabdi Express (12046) whose stoppage has been done by vegetable mandi railway station. At the same time, Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express (22448), which will now stop at the vegetable mandi railway station before reaching New Delhi railway station.
Rail passengers will now have more facilities
This will directly affect those passengers like if someone lives in South Delhi and he is coming to Delhi by Mumbai Duronto Express, now instead of not going to New Delhi railway station, he will be able to land at Nizamuddin railway station. In the same way, if the passenger lives in East Delhi, then it will be better for him to land at Tilak Bridge railway station.
PRO of Northern Railway gave information
Giving more information on this, Pro Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay of Northern Railway told ABP News that due to major trains in the evening, the crowd at the station increases. Apart from this, a situation of jam is also created on the routes coming towards the station, so we have increased the stops of these five trains keeping in mind the special factor, but the operation will remain feasibility and for the convenience of passengers or for better management, we will consider giving more trains stoppage.
