India vs Pakistan No Handshake: The Indian team has maintained the no handshake policy with Pakistan. The match between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup is being played in Colombo on 15 February. At the time of toss, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav completely ignored Salman Aga. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Talking about men’s cricket, this is the first time that the Indian captain did not shake hands with the opposing captain. This trend has been going on since Asia Cup 2025, but this is the first time the Indian team has done this in any ICC tournament. In the press conference last evening, Captain Suryakumar was asked a question regarding the handshake. Surya said that it would be better to wait for tomorrow (February 15) for this. Now by joining hands again he has given the real answer to the question asked yesterday.

After losing the toss, the Indian team has been invited to bat first. On this, captain Suryakumar Yadav said, “We have no problem with batting first. Actually, we wanted to do the same. We have seen the results here, in the last 2 matches we have won the match by defending. So we do not want to make any changes.”

Pakistan’s playing eleven: Sam Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Aga (captain), Babar Azam, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Usman Khan (wicketkeeper), Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq.
Abhishek Sharma has returned to the playing eleven after missing the last match. Considering the conditions, Team India has kept an additional spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the final-11 in place of Arshdeep Singh.
