India has defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the third T20 match. In this match played in Dharamshala, Team India won the toss and chose to bowl first. Indian bowlers all out the South African team for 117 runs. In response, the Indian batsmen achieved the target with 25 balls remaining. With this, India has gone ahead 2-1 in the five-match T20 series.
Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill gave a bright start to Team India, which came to chase the target of 118 runs. Gill-Abhishek together took India to 60 runs in 5 overs. While trying to play a big shot, Abhishek got caught by Aiden Markram. He scored 35 runs in 18 balls, in which 3 sixes and 3 fours came from his bat.
When Abhishek Sharma was out, India had scored 60 runs in 5.2 overs. After that the Indian batsmen scored runs like a tortoise. In the first 5 overs, Team India was moving the scoreboard forward at a run rate of 12. To score the next 40 runs i.e. to reach 60-100 runs, the Indian batsmen played 53 balls.

T20 team’s vice-captain Shubhman Gill scored 28 runs in the match, but for this he also played 28 balls. Even after 18 innings, Shubman Gill’s wait for a half-century in T20 continues. On the other hand, captain Suryakumar Yadav once again reached the 10-run mark, but this time too he could not score a big innings with his bat. Surya was out after scoring 12 runs.
