A passerby saw the statue lying red on the statue, after which he informed the other people about it. After this, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena UBT workers reached the spot and the non -vegetarian statue was cleaned. Meanwhile, the police was also informed about this. The police have formed 8 teams to locate the guilty.
Shinde faction also objected
Maharashtra’s Home and Revenue Minister Yogesh Kadam has spoken of taking strict action against the culprits. Yogesh Kadam, the leader of the Shinde faction, described Meenatai Thackeray as the ‘mother power’ of Shiv Sainiks and said that putting color on his statue is associated with the sentiments of Shiv Sena leaders and workers.
The statue was made at the behest of Bal Thackeray
The minister further informed that Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam had built and installed the statue of Maa Saheb on the instructions of Bal Thackeray. Shiv Sena UBT leader Anil Desai targeted the Devendra Fadnavis government on this incident. He said that this is the failure of the government.
At the same time, Mahesh Saman, MLA of Uddhav Thackeray faction, symbolized motherhood for every worker. His statue has been spoiled after 6.15 am on Wednesday morning. The person who poured paint on the effigy does not look unwell. The MLA said that the incident was carried out when the UBT leaders were protesting against the Indo-Pak match. Without naming anyone, he said that the statue of Meenatai Thackeray has been insulted in protest against the performance of Shiv Sena UBT.
