An innocent girl narrowly escaped being hit by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s convoy on Wednesday (March 26, 2026). Nitish Kumar had reached Nalanda as part of Samriddhi Yatra. During this time, when the convoy was passing, a girl ran on the road. Before she could collide with the ambulance, a female constable posted on roadside security caught the girl while running.

It is said that this convoy of Nitish Kumar was passing near Devi Sthan. This incident happened during this period. If the lady police had not shown promptness, anything could have happened to the girl. People are praising this female policeman for saving the life of the girl. Local people say that the female policeman has done a commendable job.
What did Nitish Kumar give to Nalanda?
Let us tell you that today (Thursday) Nitish Kumar took stock of various developmental schemes in Nalanda district during the Samriddhi Yatra. The Chief Minister unveiled and inaugurated the foundation stone of the flyover (1620 meters) constructed at a cost of Rs 84.81 crore at Bharapur on Biharsharif-Ranchi road. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected this flyover.
After this, the Chief Minister reached Kosuk River Front work site located in Kosuk village and inspected the concrete protection work and river front development work in Panchane River. During this, he took detailed information regarding bank development and concrete protection work of Panchane river between village Kosuk and Sipah bridge under Biharsharif block.

The Chief Minister took detailed information regarding various developmental schemes in Nalanda district. The Chief Minister inaugurated 110 schemes at a cost of Rs 316 crore and laid the foundation stone of 106 schemes at a cost of Rs 494 crore for Nalanda district by unveiling the foundation stone through remote from the venue of Deepnagar Stadium located in Bihar Sharif Municipal Corporation.
Inspected stalls of various departments
Nitish Kumar inspected the stalls set up by various departments. In this sequence, the Chief Minister took information about various activities and products related to livelihood work by Jeevika Didis. The Chief Minister presented a symbolic check of Rs 393.50 crore to the sisters of 17811 Jeevika self-help groups.
