Imf forecast: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned of major losses of two economic superpowers of the world in the future with Trump Tariff. On Tuesday, the IMF said that the global economic pace will continue to be reduced due to the trading crisis between the tariff on the tariff and then Washington and Beijing. The IMF further stated in its forecast that in 2025 the global economy will move at a speed of 2.8 percent, which is 0.5 percent less than the figure released in the World Economic Outlook in January this year.

However, according to the IMF, the economic pace will increase to 3.0 percent in the next year i.e. 2026, which is 0.3 percent less than its earlier forecast. The IMF has included some tariff measures implemented this year in its revised forecast, although not all measures are included in it.

China-America is the most damaged

This report includes things related to all tariffs till April 4, not after that. This means that the trump administration and China’s increased tariffs on each other have not been included in it. The IMF warned that if these new policies are included and considered permanent, then both China and America will suffer a big loss even after 2026 and after that.

Talking to reporters before the publication of the report, IMF Chief Economist Pierre Olivier Gorachhas said that we are entering a new era, as the global economic system that has been going on for the last 80 years is being re -arranged. “

This forecast of the IMF has come amidst the frequent tariffs being imposed on each other by the US and China, which began due to unexpected policy steps from Washington. The tariff rates between the two countries have now reached above 60 percent. That is, a level about which many economists have warned that it will harm bilateral trade badly.
