iPhone 17 Pro Vs iPhone 17 Air: Apple’s iPhone series in 2025 can prove to be quite strong. This time the company is going to bring a new version called iPhone 17 Air instead of Plus model which is expected to include thin designs, new processors, big changes in camera and advanced AI features. The most talked about iPhone 17 series will be the two models – iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air. Both are expected to be launched in September 2025. Change in design
iPhone 17 Pro
This time in the pro model, a new aluminum frame can be seen instead of titanium. The camera design can also now come in rectangular shape instead of square and a mixture of back panel glass and aluminum. According to some reports, Apple may also retain single-memorial design. The phone can also be slightly thick for better cooling systems and large batteries.
iPhone 17 Air
This will be a completely new model of Apple, which is being called the thinnest iPhone ever. Its thickness can be about 5.5mm, which will be half the previous Plus model. It will have a mild aluminum frame and possibly only one camera at the back so that the design remains thin and premium.
Performance and Processor
iPhone 17 Pro
It may use Apple’s new A19 Pro chipset, which will be based on 3Nm technology. Due to this, better results can be found in speed and power efficiency. The Pro model can be given 12GB RAM, which will help in running multitasking and apple AI tools smooth.
iPhone 17 Air
A new A19 chip will also be available in the air version, but this pro will be slightly lighter than the chip. It will have 8GB RAM, which will support the Apple Intelligence features, but can be limited to heavy tasks.
Camera setup
iPhone 17 Pro
This time the Pro model is expected to have a triple camera system – which may include 48MP wide, 48MP telephoto (3.5X zoom), and 48MP ultravide lenses. A large upgrade can also be seen in the front camera, which can be done 24MP (earlier 12MP).
iPhone 17 Air
The air model can have only a 48MP rear camera due to thin design, but its quality is expected to be equal to the model. Also, a 24MP front camera can also be given in it.
Battery and charging
Battery capacity can be increased in the Pro model and can get better charging speed. Magsafe wireless charging feature will remain in it as before. There is a possibility of getting a 3000mAh battery in the Air version which will support 35W fast charging. Magsafe charging will also be supported in this.
