IPL 2025: The performance of Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant has been disappointing this season. His team has also not been able to qualify for the playoffs. Sanjeev Goenka owned by Lucknow Super Giants bought him for Rs 27 crore, after which he became the most expensive player in IPL history. He has scored a total of 151 runs in 13 matches played so far, his team also dropped out of the league stage.
Meanwhile, a journalist tweeted that Lucknow management feels that 27 crore is very much for Rishabh Pant, so he can be dropped from the team before 2026. He wrote, “Breaking News, LSG can release Rishabh Pant before IPL 2026. LSG management feels that 27 crore is too much.”
Pant has reacted strongly to this comment. Rishabh Pant wrote on his X account, “I understand that fake news promotes the content more, but we should not make everything around it. Less sensible and reliable news will help more than the agenda.
I undress fake news more traction to content but let’s not buy everything Everything Around it. Little Sense and Credible News will help more raather making fake news with ageda. Thanks have a good day. Let’s be responsible and sensible what we put out on social media
