IPL 2025 Suspend: The BCCI has canceled the IPL 2025 organizing IPL 2025 amidst India Pakistan tension. Now no match of IPL season 18 will be played from today. The board has taken this decision after consulting the Center and all franchises and stakeholders. There will be no match from today.
Australian players were nervous after the match was stopped in Dharamshala. It was being claimed in the Australian media that all the players including Ricky Ponting want to return home. However, due to the closure of the airport in Dharamshala, all the players will be brought to Delhi by rail.
The franchise is also telling foreign players about the situation. They were also assured that arrangements are being made to send them back.
In IPL 2025, 57 matches were successfully held while the 58th match (PBKS vs DC) played in Dharamshala on 8 May was stopped between security reasons. In many places including Jammu, Pakistan carried out drone attacks, which was killed by the Indian Army. But the match being played at the precautionary Dharamshala was stopped and the players were sent back to the hotel.
