Its video went viral on social media, after which there was a ruckus. This spread outrage among both animal welfare groups and the general public. In this 20 second video, a person is seen holding the goat in front of a large cutout of Virat Kohli. When the second person is celebrating RCB’s victory over Chennai Super Kings, then the goat is cut with a knife. After this, blood is offered to Kohli’s cutout and a big team poster.
3 people arrested
The third person helps in catching the animal with a rope. They are being criticized to promote animal cruelty and fanaticism. Local authorities have taken action, have registered a case and arrested the three and started further investigation. The arrested persons have been identified as Sana Palaiya (22), Jayanna (23) and Atto Swami (28).
