New schedule of ipl playoffs
The BCCI has announced the new schedule, including the date of the playoff matches. Now the first match of the playoff will be played on 29 May. After this, the eliminator match will be held on May 30, the second qualifier match will be held on June 1 and the final on 3 June. The board said that the decision of the venue of the playoff matches will be taken forward. The reason behind this was the possibility of rain in the days of June 3 and around it. Now Cab has submitted a report to BCCI saying that it would not be right to estimate rain from now on.
What did Cab say in their report
According to the report, the Cricket Association of Bengal contacted the Meteorological Center Kolkata and sought a report of the weather pattern in the city on June 3. CAB has also submitted its report to BCCI, which has clearly said that it is very hurry to predict June 3. It can be forecast by 25 May a week ago.
The association believes that it is not right to take IPL matches away from the city on the basis of weather forecast. He hopes that the BCCI will take a proper decision after seeing the report.
The report quoted the source as saying, “We have done a good job in all matches and we are confident that things will be cured. You cannot guess how the weather will be, we have also sent the documents related to it in our report.”
