Rcb vs pbks final: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar wants to eliminate the 18 -year drought of the team. He wants to win the prestigious trophy for Virat Kohli and loyal fans of the team. Kohli has been associated with RCB since the first season of IPL played in 2008. He was also the captain of the team from 2013 to 2021. RCB has so far played finals in 2009, 2011 and 2016 and Virat has been a part of the team on these three occasions.
Patidar said in the press conference before the match, “Virat has contributed significantly in the last few years and matters a lot, especially for him and fans.”
The Patidar -led RCB has a mental growth over Punjab Kings. In the qualifier-1 played in Mullanpur, RCB defeated Punjab by eight wickets and entered the finals directly.
Punjab returned to qualifier-2 and captain Shreyas Iyer’s exciting and memorable 87-run innings played with a five-wicket win over Mumbai Indians not only made it to the finals with five wickets, but also kept the hopes of winning their first title alive.
Patidar said on his first season as the captain of one of the world’s largest cricket franchisees that his team will not think too much, but will focus on playing his best cricket.
He said, “Expectations come naturally, especially when you are leading a team like RCB in the final, but I always focus on what is under my control and I try to live in the present. This journey of captaincy has been a great experience for me to learn. Staying with some of the best veterans and foreign players has really expanded my vision.”
Patidar said, “I have focused on creating a comfortable and safe environment, where both domestic and international players feel confident. We are not thinking too much about the stage. We have come here to play our best cricket.”
The final of Syed Mushtaq Ali 2024-25 was played between Madhya Pradesh captained by Rajat Patidar and Mumbai captained by Shreyas Iyer. In this, Madhya Pradesh had to face defeat by five wickets.
Patidar said, “It is a good coincidence to face Iyer once again under new circumstances in the final. We are ready for this challenge.”
Let us know that in two matches of league stage, Bangalore won one in one and Punjab in the second match. At the same time, in the qualifier, RCB won over Punjab, due to which it has a psychological edge.
