Harbhajan Singh Racist comment on Jofra Archer: In the last Sunday IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs. Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh has been engulfed in criticism due to making a racial comment during this match. Actually, this case is related to England fast bowler Jofra Archer, who was addressed by Harbhajan as ‘Kali Taxi’. For such comments, a debate has started on social media and Harbhajan has to be trolled fiercely.
Harbhajan made racial comments
The incident is of the 18th over of the first innings of the match, in which Jofra Archer came for Rajasthan for bowling. Ishaan Kishan and Heinrich Klassen were present at the crease from SRH. Harbhajan commented when Klassen set a boundary on Archer’s consecutive balls.
Harbhajan Singh said, “The black taxi meter runs fast in London and the meter of Archer Saheb has also run fast.” Due to such remarks, there is anger among the people and there is a demand to remove them from the commentary panel of IPL 2025 immediately. One person said that such a comment is shameful and disgusting. Harbhajan should be dismissed immediately with a commentary panel.

Jofra Archer threw IPL’s most expensive spell
IPL 2025 did not have a good start for Jofra Archer. He could not take any wickets in the entire match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and took a total of 76 runs in 4 overs. With this, Archer has become the most expensive spell bowlers in IPL history. Earlier this shameful record was in the name of Indian bowler Mohit Sharma, who scored 73 runs against Delhi Capitals for Gujarat Titans in 2024 season.
