Kkr vs srh score 1st innings: Kolkata Knight Riders have scored 200 runs while playing first. KKR ended the innings in a stormy style after a very slow start. At one time it seemed difficult for Kolkata to reach 150 runs, but the 91 -run partnership between Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh made a strong comeback in the KKR match. Venkatesh Iyer scored 60 runs in a fierce manner, while Rinku Singh also returned unbeaten after scoring 32 runs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi also put a fifty.
KKR hit 78 runs in 5 overs
The start for Kolkata Knight Riders was quite poor. Quinton de Kock and Sunil Narine had returned to the pavilion till the score of 16. After that there was a partnership of 81 runs between Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi, but the run speed was curbed. At one time Kolkata had scored 122 runs in 15 overs and it seemed almost impossible to score 200 runs.
From here Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh took command. On one hand, Iyer hit 7 fours and 3 sixes in 29 balls while playing a stormy innings of 60 runs. At the same time, Rinku Singh returned unbeaten after scoring 32 runs in 17 balls. Thanks to these two, Kolkata scored 78 runs in the last 5 overs to bring the team’s score to 200 runs. Actually, the foundation of Kolkata’s big score was laid by Angkrish Raghuvanshi, whose bat scored 50 runs in 32 balls.
Venkatesh Iyer’s form of 23 crores
Venkatesh Iyer was bought by KKR for Rs 23.75 crore in the mega auction. Iyer had so far been able to score only 9 runs in two innings of IPL 2025, but in the third innings he has shown his look of 23 crores. He has made the world aware of his ability by playing at a stormy strike rate of 206.9 in the match against Hyderabad.
