Rabada expressed grief

Rabada expressed grief over the whole matter, saying, “I am very sad for those whom I have disappointed. I will never take the privilege of playing cricket lightly. This privilege is bigger than me. It is beyond my personal aspirations.”

He added, “I am serving a suspension sentence, and I am eager to return to the game I like to play. I want to thank my agent, CSA and Gujarat Titans for their support. I want to thank SACA and my legal team for their guidance and counseling. The most important thing is that I want to thank my friends and family for their love.”

Kagiso Rabada in Indian Premier League
Kagiso Rabada made his IPL debut with Delhi Capitals in 2017. In 50 matches, he took 76 wickets for Delhi Capitals. He also won the Purple Cap in 2020, the season in which Delhi Capitals played their first IPL final. Rabada joined Punjab Kings in 2022 and spent three years with him. He took 41 wickets in 30 matches for Punjab Kings. Gujarat Titans bought Rabada at the IPL 2025 mega auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians also bid for South African.
