Wicketkeeper batsman Jose Butler made his international debut for England in 2011. By the year 2014, butler had made her debut for England in all three formats. By 2015, everything was going well for him, but the same year he was dropped from the England team in the middle of the Test series against Pakistan. He was later excluded from the series against South Africa. After a few months of struggle, Butler finally returned to the 2016 T20 World Cup team.
In the midst of all this, his love story with Lewis Butler started taking an interesting turn. Let us tell you that his first meeting was when he was just 14 years old. Later, the friendship of both of them changed in love, but when Butler dropped from the England team, he had placed a special condition for marriage. Butler said that he will not marry Lewis until his career catchs pace again.
Married in 2016
Jose Butler got the captaincy of the England team for the first time in the ODI series against Bangladesh in October 2016. His under English team won the three ODI matches series 2–1. Butler got engaged to Lewis in 2016 itself and after confirming a place in the team, Butler finally accepted Lewis as his wife on 21 October 2017.
