Mini auction of IPL 2026 can be conducted in Abu Dhabi. It was told that BCCI can organize the auction on 15-16 December. Now the Times of India report has revealed that the auction can be conducted in the third week of December. If this happens, it will be the third time that the IPL auction will be conducted abroad. The auction of the last two seasons was conducted in Jeddah and Dubai.

After Jeddah and Dubai, this time Abu Dhabi can host the IPL auction. Earlier there was speculation that this time the auction could be conducted in India only, but according to the latest update the auction will be conducted in Abu Dhabi.

Retention list deadline

All teams will have to submit their retention lists by 15th November. Meanwhile, there are reports of a big trade between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. According to media reports, Sanju Samson can join Chennai Super Kings, while Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran can join Rajasthan Royals in his place. As far as the Women’s Premier League is concerned, its auction will be held on November 27 in Delhi.

Let us tell you that this time there will be a mini auction in the Indian Premier League. Each team will be able to retain 15 players. It is not yet clear how many players will be bid in the auction. On the other hand, all the five teams of the Women’s Premier League have released their respective retention lists. WPL teams had released famous and legendary players like Deepti Sharma, Sophie Ecclestone, Alyssa Healy, Harleen Deol and Meg Lanning.
