The team management has said that as of now they have not talked about any trade or transfer of a new player. This means that at present Sanju’s move to CSK has been postponed.
Old relationship with Rajasthan Royals
The relationship between Sanju Samson and Rajasthan Royals is about 12 years old. He was added to the team in 2013, when Kolkata Knight Riders released him. Since then, Sanju has remained one of the most trusted faces of the team.
Sanju has scored more than 4,200 runs in 149 innings for RR, which includes 26 half-centuries and 2 centuries. In 2021, when the franchise removed Steve Smith from the captaincy, Samson was made the captain and gave stable leadership to the team.
