The biggest win in terms of runs in IPL history is in the name of Mumbai Indians. Mumbai defeated Delhi Daredevils by 146 runs in the match played in Delhi on 6 May 2017. In that match, Mumbai had given a strong target of 213 runs, but the Delhi team was limited to only 13.4 overs. This victory is still considered the biggest victory of IPL.
Royal Challengers Bangalore – 144 runs
Royal Challengers Bangalore is at second place in this list. RCB defeated Gujarat Lions by 144 runs in Bengaluru on 14 May 2016. In that match, RCB had put a mountain-like score of 249 runs on the board. In reply, Gujarat team could last only 18.4 overs. This match is counted among the most memorable victories of RCB.
Kolkata Knight Riders – 140 runs
Kolkata Knight Riders team is in third place. KKR defeated RCB by 140 runs in Bengaluru on 18 April 2008. This victory in the initial season of IPL was also special because from this match, the series of wins by big scores and big margins in the history of the league started. KKR had set a target of 223 runs and the RCB team completely collapsed under pressure.
Royal Challengers Bangalore – 138 runs
RCB’s name again comes at number four. Bengaluru defeated Kings XI Punjab by 138 runs on 6 May 2015 at their home ground. In that match, RCB had scored 227 runs and Punjab team was defeated in just 13.4 overs. This match was a great example of RCB’s aggressive batting and lethal bowling.
Royal Challengers Bangalore – 130 runs
RCB also occupies the fifth position. In the match played in Bengaluru on 23 April 2013, RCB defeated Pune Warriors by 130 runs. In this match, RCB had made a huge score of 263 runs, which remained in discussion for a long time. In reply, Pune Warriors could not reach the target even after playing 20 overs.
