IPL 2025 closing ceremony: The final of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League will be played in Ahmedabad on 3 June. The Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings will be ‘Mahabhodhanta’ at the Narendra Modi Stadium. For the first time in 18 seasons, the team of Bengaluru or Punjab is going to lift the IPL trophy. Let us tell you that according to the old schedule, the final match was to be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Meanwhile, IPL 2025 was suspended for a week due to Indo-Pak tension. The tournament resumed after 10 days instead of a week, due to which the final venue was changed to Ahmedabad.
What time will the closing ceremony start?
After the suspension, the venue of the IPL 2025 final was changed to Ahmedabad. The closing ceremony will start at 6 pm at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. When the opening ceremony took place, veteran artists like Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Karan Aujla and Shreya Ghoshal tied Sama.
Army will be honored
Closing ceremonies are also going to be very special. India’s legendary composer Shankar Mahadevan is going to give tribute to the Indian Army. His performance will express respect for the soldiers who have been involved in the operation vermilion and the people who lost their lives in the Pahalgam attack. There is also news of the arrival of Shankar Mahadevan’s son Siddharth and Shivam in this closing ceremony. Shankar Mahadevan is recognized for songs like ‘Brathless’ and ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’.
The closing ceremony will begin at 6 pm, after which the final match of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings will begin 1:30 hr. This is the first time Bangalore and Punjab will be coming face to face in the IPL final match.
